Brugge

This week has been very cold in Brussels! Sunday night was Emily's birthday so we went to dinner near our house before heading home to make some plans for the weekend. Monday we had culture class with Marie-Therese all day. During lunch Beth, Ali, Lauren, and I went to a lunch place called Made in Salad where you made your own salads and they are delicious.

After our afternoon class, Beth and I stayed at the CUBC to work on homework and our presentation and skype.

Fries for dinner

Tuesday we had nutrition class in the morning and after lunch headed to the African museum and gardens which was really pretty. Beth and I had to go get chunnel tickets for the last weekend after class and everyone ate dinner at the house. After that we went downtown Brussels which was really fun.

Wednesday was our excursion day so we spent the entire day in Brugge. In the morning we went on a bike ride tour to Damme. We got to see a lot of the windmills!

Town Hall in Damme

We ate lunch in Damme which was really nice to eat something warm because it was very cold in Brugge. I had tomato soup, fries (typical), and hot tea. After lunch in Damme we headed back on the bikes to Brugge.
